Nathan Good Architects provided the architectural services for an extensive remodel of The Salishan Residence to the south of Lincoln City. The owners of the oceanfront property requested more interior living space, a larger garage for their cars and boat, and sheltered outdoor environments for their family’s weekend retreats, while simultaneously enhancing the overall character and aesthetics of the home.
A fire pit with surround seating, a generous hot tub, and a covered outdoor room with large sliding glass panels were added to the side of the home looking out to the ocean. The remodel and additions were designed for a generous covered outdoor deck with mesmerizing views of Siletz Bay on the east side of the home, providing protection from the coastal winds, rain and hot summer afternoon sun.
